These quilts begin with a piece of “found” fabric,such as a dropcloth leftover from screenprinting sessions or a test cloth made while trying out various processes. These cloths represent a history of my work and have a quality impossible to duplicate. The colors and patterns set the tone and other fabrics are added without a particular plan in mind,until the composition seems complete. The large hand stitching ,also unplanned, seems a logical conclusion.
Price range for this series: $1500.-$1800.
